Have arrived in Paris for September. An early arrival saw the dawn of a perfect day … Even if it was 32 hours door to door . The shuttle from the airport to the Marais apartment was an excellent way to see Paris waking up. With the iPhone camera this blog will be updated as much as possible. Walked forever today around the Marais district and ended up at Chez Janou for an early evening meal and some Bordeaux red and just sat there watching Parisians doing their thing. Such a refined tribe. And I want a bike. A pushie with a battery please so the Creme Brulee is whisked away in good time.

There seems to be a lot of red coming to mind. I just stumbled on this pic and it’s a few years old. Vivid red. Good soil. Good toil. Plant a nail and grow a crowbar.

Just a perfect day today. Here’s an iphone pic of our Aloe Vera plant/s. The original plant has multiplied an average of 40% per year. They get a bit unruly so there will be some ‘grooming’ soon. The birds will have a ball over the next few days with these flowers!
That white spot near the centre of the pic is the Moon. This picture’s colour has not been enhanced at all. It is a direct upload from the phone.
The new operating system for the iphone introduces a zoom capability for the camera which zooms digitally (not optically). This image was taken with about 15% zoom.

I made another dash up to Byron Bay to cover the ArtsCape Biennial and get more progress images for Samantha Welch’s Myocum School of Sculpture.
Artscape finishes on the 11th July 2010 and there are some great pieces to see along the walk to Clarks Beach.
